Cost Effective, Developer Productive and Consumer Compelling

Xpressmo™ Products consist of enabling technology with integrated capabilities to ensure our customers can rapidly come to market, extend functionality, increase developer productivity and respond swiftly to customer requirements.

We provide an extensible environment that delivers a richer, more robust consumer mobile content experience. Our toolkit offers developers a highly productive, cost-efficient workflow. As consumer demand evolves, the time-to-develop, test, and deploy changes is reduced from 18 months to as little as 3 weeks.

  • Xpressmo Publisher. Sophisticated authoring tool for application designers.
  • Xpressmo Platform. Language, APIs, Content Servers, GIS/LBS and Messaging.
  • Xpressmo Player. Light-weight, over the air (OTA), and VM implementation independent.

Deliver

Xpressmo Platform supports open standards and is extensible on both the client and server side. Its core is our proprietary patented language, which enables tight integration, developer efficiencies and portability across networks and devices. This architecture provides for extensibility of features which are backwards compatible to devices and previously installed applications. Xpressmo provides customers with the tools to offer vast functions and services. The server environment includes support for dynamic content updates, news feeds, message, alerts, content delivery, Location Based Services, and application aggregation.

Xpressmo Platform is an open and extensible environment. Developers can extend functions and services by integrating their own or third party set of APIs and services.

  • Portable Description Language (PDL). Enables the compaction of object code which the Xpressmo Player reads and instantiates on the local device for performance and network efficiencies.
  • Software Developer APIs. Allows Java developers to extend business logic of applications onto external third party servers. Functionality can efficiently be extended on both the server side and the device side. Developers are highly efficient since they do not need to make program changes to support different operating systems, different devices or different networks.
  • Response Director. Addressing device fragmentation, this service directs the appropriate content to phones for initial download of the application. It will take into account the different capabilities and phone metrics, like screen size and support for video. This service also extends to supporting PCs through a web browser.
  • Content Server. Acts as a director for mobile content to get updated media. The content is not limited to local servers, but can reside anywhere on the Internet.
  • Feed Collector. Acts as an intermediary between third party RSS Feeds and presenting them in real-time to mobile devices as part of an application.
  • Multiple Media Interaction. An extensive capability to extend messaging beyond chat to now include multiple elements on the same page, video and chat. Internal alerts can be pushed from the system to groups or individuals. Alerts can also be sent P2P and can consist of images, video, text or sounds.
  • Memory Management. Allows for an infinite number of applications to be spawned and run as local applications on the device. Multiple schemes are used, such as Anticipatory Streaming, Multi-Level Caching, Heap and Record Store Management.
  • Mobile GIS/LBS. Supporting the GPS system on the phone and both raster and vector imagery on one screen, users are able to drill down onto a pixel and retrieve additional information, like launching a video or requesting directions.
  • Navigation. Multiple metaphors are available to support stylus, pointers and joysticks. Users can navigate by an interactive launchstrip, by position or by cursor.

Play

Xpressmo Player transcends WAP, providing a richer user experience on mobile phones. The player takes advantage of our PDL, enabling intelligent, light weight, cross-device applications without sacrificing robustness or requiring massive phone resources.

The player's robustness enables developers to create very sophisticated pages by combining video, feeds, and chat all on one screen.

Light weight and and VM implementation independent, only one application needs to be develop to work across multiple devices, thus eliminating device fragmentation and ensuring a consistent user experience between devices.

Xpressmo Player is intelligent. Enabling advanced navigation capabilities, personalized user experiences, and continued growth and changes over time.
